Now with HARDWARE BLINDSCAN
There
has been a problem with the External Power supplies that come
with this receiver. I have had around a 50% Failure rate. Open
Sat (the receiver manufacturer) has decided
that since not all of the Power supplies have failed, that they
do not want to replace the originals, unless they Fail. It is
easy to replace, as it is NOT inside the receiver. The power cord
plugs into the Power Supply and then it plugs into the back of
the receiver.
Since
there is such a High Demand for this unit, I have decided to go
ahead and start selling them again. If a Power Supply does fail,
it will be replaced with a different style of Power Supply.
I have not had any failures with the replacement Power Supplies.
I just want my customers who are buying this unit to know the Good and the Bad things about it, so you can make an informed purchase.
I
test All AZ Box Receivers before shipping and load in the most
stable of the newest software available.
I also scan in 2 of the CBS 4:2:2 DVB-S2 8PSK HD channels from
Galaxy 28 - 11 C-Band @ 3920MHz Vertical SR29860.
I also send a Quick Start Sheet to make it easy to get started
scanning feeds.

I currently offer 3 different AZ Box Receivers. Premium, Ultra & Premium PLUS.
The Premium is a Proven Unit and has been out since before June 2009 and works Great,. It has WiFi capability, but does NOT have Hardware Blind Scan. So if you want the ability to Blind Scan, you will need either the Ultra or the Premium PLUS. I have not had any problems with this unit. I has one Tuner.
The Ultra is the one of the Newest Units and Has Hardware Blind Scan. It does NOT have a Front Panel display or WiFi. You can view the channel name and number with the On Screen Display and you will have to use an Ethernet Cable if you want to connect to the Internet. You can add an internal hard drive as well. I have not had any problems with this unit. It has one Tuner.
The Premium PLUS is also one of the Newest Units and Has Hardware Blind Scan, a Front Panel display and WiFi capability. However, I have had a 50% failure rate with the External Power supplies. Because of this, I had stopped selling the unit, until I was able to obtain New Power Supplies to have on hand in case any more failed. It has one Tuner.
